it’s been a long day of flying. but we made it to beijing. our bodies say it’s 5AM Friday morning, but it’s actually 5PM.
we’ve checked into the hotel. hopefully we’ll get a good night’s sleep and then we have a LONG day of sightseeing tomorrow. we’ll be running from 8:30AM ’til 7:30PM. tomorrow will be Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Jade factory, and Peking Duck dinner.
looks like we might get to tour the Olympic facilities on Sunday!
only two more days ’til we meet HENRY!!!
by the way, so far we’re having trouble accessing www.stephenandcc.com. we’re hoping to blog the trip there, but we’ll post updates here until we get it worked out.

we’re leaving to go get henry this thursday, the 23rd! we’ll have him in our arms on monday the 27th. (well, actually C.C. will have him in her arms….maybe i’ll get to hold him a little bit.)

steve daugherty offered me lunch if i’d let him shave half of my head before going completely back to cue ball. it looked too ridiculous not to share.
94 total days of hair growth. gone just like that….
day 80!
looks like i have 16 days left with the old beard. it’s gonna be odd going back to cue ball status.
some people are no longer holding back their true feelings. i’m starting to get straight out requests to shave, for the love of god.
truthfully, if trimming weren’t against my rules, i would trim up the sides a little and i think i would actually like the beard….
OCT 23 is the date! we’re going to china! to bring henry home!
henrypalooza exceeded all expectations. i need to give that a dedicated post - ’cause i’m still speechless at this point.
