Stephen,

Ever heard of H.A.L.T.?

Seems almpost every poor choice I make is because I am:

Hungry
Angry (selfish)
Lazy
Tired

Today's pace of life demands that we make quick choices because there simply is not enough physical time to deliberate each one... but we have to remember that our pace of life and what we dedicate our time to is a series of choices. Props to you for making good ones!

Pam- Any good recipes for a tuna fish shake?
Jeff- Congrats on the weigh loss. Remember "Crack Kills!"

Stephen,

I've lost almost 25 pounds since the first of the year by one getting some exercise and two NO LONGER DRINKING 44oz. Cokes from Jack In The Box all day long. I am also a sucker for their Tacos...they're like my own personal crack! Not only am I loosing weight, getting into shape, have more energy, but more $$$. I figured that I spent close to $50 @ week on fast food. Crazy, I know! Anyway good luck in your newest endeavor and let me know if you need an "accountabili-buddy." That's a South Park reference.

Hey Stephen,

So remind me when I am visiting later this week to tell you about my being wired shut for 7 weeks and my desperate attempts to get real food in my stomach. Milkshakes take on a whole new meaning!

Glad you are healing well, and glad you are slowing down. In the arena of consuming less, I have found that slowing down makes the most difference. When I slow down how I eat, I eat less, and when I slow down and stop before making a purchase, I make less of them, when I slow down and breathe, I realize I don't need a triple mocha (which I would never choose anyhow cause it has coffee in it, but you get the point!) instead hot tea or a tall will do just fine.

Praying for you as you slow down, and yes, do remind me to tell you of some fun blender recipes I discovered in my broken jaw days!
