agreed about the whole idea of a poisonous home, but do you have any idea how hard it is to “fail” a homestudy??? having made good friends with our adoption social worker I’ve learned you basically have to be shooting heroin at your home visit to fail.

hey gwenn. yup. reality can be bitter sometimes. but i really am glad that the home study is part of the process because it would be horrible to take a child from one injustice (lack of a home) to another injustice (a poisonous home).
